When steam or hot water flows inside the pipe, the heat is transferred to the air outside the pipe through the Elophin, raising the temperature. Conversely, if cold industrial water flows through, the temperature of the air outside the pipe decreases. The Elophin tube is a type of heat dissipation pipe used in heat exchangers, designed by spirally wrapping fins (strip-shaped metal plates = ribbons) around the outer circumference of the pipe to increase the heat dissipation area.
