In recent years, there has been a growing global awareness of environmental measures, leading many industries, including automotive and semiconductors, to consider alternatives to hexavalent chromium, with trivalent chromate being used as a substitute for chromate plating. On the other hand, compared to chromate treatment, managing the process conditions such as the stirring state of the plating material, immersion time, temperature, and pH can be challenging, which may result in uneven appearance and color finish. Furthermore, in general chromate treatments, the color may change as corrosion begins.
