This is a stainless steel spacer treated with low-temperature black chrome. The matte black surface is ideal for optical devices that require anti-glare properties. With a film thickness of approximately 2μm and no variation in thickness distribution, it has corrosion resistance several tens of times greater than black dyeing. It features a standard hexagonal column shape with male threads on both ends. Low-temperature black chrome treatment offers excellent wear resistance, light-selective absorption, and thermal absorption, leading to increased demand in industries related to semiconductors, liquid crystals, and optical technologies. Applications include semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment, optical inspection devices, top covers and diaphragm parts for high-end digital single-lens reflex cameras, and precision drive components such as LM guides and gears. Standard film thickness: 5±2μm. Since there is no need for oil application, it can be used in clean rooms.

The film thickness is very thin, around 2 microns, resulting in less variation in thickness distribution compared to electroplating. The color tone is matte black, making it suitable for preventing halation in optical device sensors. It has less color unevenness compared to black dyeing treatment or chromate treatment, and unlike black dyeing treatment, there is no need to apply anti-rust oil, allowing for use in clean rooms.
