Applications/Examples of results
Brass has excellent electrical conductivity, making it suitable for use in strong and weak electrical devices and conductive parts. It also has excellent corrosion resistance, which is further enhanced by nickel plating, increasing its decorative appeal. Nickel plating is widely used for decorative purposes and has a mirror-like luster. Its rust resistance is superior to that of chromate treatment or trivalent chromate treatment. To enhance adhesion to screws and improve rust resistance, a copper plating is applied as a base layer for nickel plating.
