The real-time portable sound camera (SeeSV-S205 by SM Instruments) is an acoustic camera based on FPGA technology that applies high-speed beamforming techniques. It detects and visualizes both static and moving noise sources. To visualize instantaneous sound sources, it records images at a high speed of 25 FPS using a high-resolution optical camera. The high-speed color map overlay and video are ideal for identifying transient noise sources.
