[Overview] Laplace System Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City, President: Masayuki Horii) has renewed its solar power remote monitoring system "L・eye 'Low Voltage Monitoring Package'" and has begun sales. By changing to measuring instruments with built-in communication functions, routers are no longer necessary, making the system more compact and capable of supporting power supply up to 200V. This meets a wide range of installation conditions and aims to reduce the introduction costs of remote monitoring, targeting annual sales of 10,000 units. [Background] The revised FIT law was enacted in April 2017, making inspections and maintenance of solar power generation facilities mandatory, leading to an increased demand for remote monitoring systems that can accurately grasp power generation amounts and equipment conditions. In cases where power supply only supports 200V, introducing a conventional remote monitoring system that supports 100V power supply required new power contracts and wiring work. Therefore, we have worked on developing a remote monitoring system that can support up to 200V, allowing for easier and cost-effective implementation without the need for additional effort or expenses. *For more details, please refer to the related materials.

Laplace System Co., Ltd. will standardly support output control, which is required for cooperation under the revised FIT law, with its solar power remote monitoring system "L・eye." To add functionality to the measuring devices that make up "L・eye," we will support output control without the need for additional equipment, thereby contributing to the stable supply of electricity in the future. Features of our unique output control: 1. Detailed control The devices that make up "L・eye" automatically and regularly obtain the output control schedule from the power company's server and control the PCS (Power Conditioning System) according to the schedule. 2. Industry-leading PCS compatibility We support PCS from various manufacturers both domestically and internationally, and we also conduct demonstration experiments. By accommodating a wide range of PCS, we eliminate the hassle of selecting equipment to match specific PCS. 3. Real-time confirmation of control plans and results You can check the output control plans and results in real-time, anytime and anywhere. Since the control status can be confirmed for each PCS, it is possible to clearly distinguish it from output reductions due to malfunctions.
