The Klinger Type 108 is a high-performance gasket that enables low surface pressure sealing as an alternative to metal jacket gaskets and joint sheets for heat exchangers. It can seal at lower surface pressures than other semi-metallic gaskets, is robust and easy to handle even in large diameter gaskets, can be processed into various shapes including frame shapes, and provides stable sealing performance even in narrow gasket shapes. The Type 108, designed for heat exchangers, demonstrates excellent performance.
