【Semiconductor Laser Drive Power Supply / LD Driver】 A power supply equipped with a noise-free constant current source (Auto Current Control) that protects the LD from external noise and incorrect connections, as well as a circuit element for Auto Power Control (APC) to maintain a constant optical output. 【Temperature Controller / Temperature Regulator】 A temperature controller is a Peltier control device that regulates the current flowing through the Peltier element based on the resistance changes obtained from a temperature sensor using PID control, allowing it to maintain a specified temperature regardless of external factors. Our temperature controllers are referred to as "Thermo Module Controllers," "Peltier Controllers," "Peltier Drivers," etc. Developed 30 years ago as a high-precision temperature controller using Peltier and thermistors to stabilize the wavelength and power of semiconductor lasers, it is now utilized in various fields based on optical comb technology. In particular, using our developed φ0.7 mm thermistors and platinum sensors enables high-precision constant temperature maintenance in extremely small spaces.

  Semiconductor lasers, semiconductor laser diodes, LD modules We provide various types of LDs and LD modules, including packaged LDs in the UV to far-infrared range, fiber output LDs, parallel beam output LDs, stacked high-power LDs, and optical communication LD modules. We also offer quantum cascade lasers (QCL) in the far-infrared range of 3.3 to 11.00 µm and interband cascade lasers (ICL). As a semiconductor laser light source integrated with LD drivers, we provide pulsed LD light sources and wavelength-sweeping lasers.

  Semiconductor Laser Drive Power Supply / LD Driver The semiconductor laser drive power supply is the only analog drive power supply that serves as a source to faithfully reproduce the specifications of the semiconductor laser provided by the manufacturer, as indicated by the term "source" at the end of the product name. It accurately reproduces the optical spectrum linewidth characteristics attached by the manufacturer. Using switching power supplies and digital circuits can result in noise interference, which differentiates it from analog devices, making analog LD drivers a focus of attention and adoption in research institutions both domestically and internationally.

  Temperature Controller / Temperature Regulator Our temperature controllers are referred to as "Thermo Module Controllers," "Peltier Controllers," "Peltier Drivers," etc. They are developed using Peltier elements and thermistors to stabilize the wavelength and power of semiconductor lasers, achieving a fast response and high precision capable of maintaining a temperature within 1/100°C. They are now utilized in various temperature control fields.

  LD modulation head, LD mount, LD socket The modulation head can linearly follow any input modulation frequency signal and modulate the LD light accordingly. Introducing a semiconductor laser (LD) mounting fixture designed to ensure that even students learning about LD for the first time can safely handle LD oscillation without risk of sudden failure, allowing them to work safely. We offer connectors specifically for semiconductor lasers (LD). We also accommodate custom connectors that match the PIN arrangement.

  Peltier Thermoelectric Module TEC The Peltier element is a semiconductor device that is modularized by forming a PN junction between two ceramic plates, equipped with ± bipolar DC current terminals. When a DC current flows through it, it has the function of transferring heat from one ceramic plate to the other, allowing for cooling, heating, and temperature control. By passing a DC current through this Peltier element, the following functions are exhibited: A temperature difference occurs on both sides of the element. That is, by switching the direction of the current, heat absorption and heat generation are produced.

  Temperature Sensors: Thermistors & Platinum Resistance Thermometers In the field of industrial temperature measurement, temperature sensors are always required to be smaller and more high-performance. Among these, platinum resistance thermometers and thermistors are at the forefront for high-precision measurement and control applications. Due to our involvement with LD, we have developed and commercialized thermistors and platinum resistance thermometers with a sensor head diameter of Φ0.7 mm suitable for measuring in micro ranges. The Φ0.7 mm sensor elements excel in accuracy and stability, making them ideal for fields requiring precise measurements.

  Desktop Constant Temperature Bath The system of the desktop constant temperature bath consists of a constant temperature chiller, a temperature controller, and the constant temperature bath itself. The constant temperature bath is an original design tailored to the measuring device that the customer intends to test. There are no standard products for the constant temperature bath section. We will proceed with the manufacturing while consulting with the customer. The constant temperature bath is composed of a constant temperature plate, a Peltier element, and a heat sink, with constant temperature water circulating in the heat sink section to assist with heat dissipation from the Peltier element.

  Parallel Light Measuring Device / Autocollimator The parallel light measuring device, also known as an autocollimator, is equipped with a built-in parallel light reference. It displays the tilt angle and direction relative to this reference on a monitor in clock orientation. This product was developed to measure the reference surface, which is the source of manufacturing, as well as to measure verticality and parallelism relative to the reference surface, all within seconds, ensuring the quality of the measured products. It is used for creating reference models of optical devices and as a pass/fail judgment tool at the final stage of mass production lines.

  Dedicated socket for semiconductor lasers and LD-specific connectors Semiconductor lasers (LD) are devices that are very susceptible to surges and noise. In particular, direct soldering to the device's PIN is one of the tasks that technicians would like to avoid. In response to the voices of such technicians, our company manufactures and sells various connector products suitable for the specific PIN arrangements of semiconductor lasers (LD). We produce custom connectors and sockets from prototype to mass production. We deliver the products within two weeks after receiving the order.
