16×16 dot LED dot matrix: red light emission

Aesic Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of electronic components centered around LEDs, will begin selling a compact and lightweight LED dot matrix module that can be connected in series starting today. The product measures 40mm in height and 80mm in width, with a dot configuration of 16 dots vertically and 32 dots horizontally, each dot equipped with red and green chip LEDs. By using surface-mounted components, it enables high-density mounting, achieving a compact, thin, and lightweight design. Additionally, the display section, lighting drive circuit, and lighting controller are integrated into one unit, allowing for the connection of signal cables to enable the display of larger text and more characters or graphics. Recently, there has been a trend of Japanese manufacturers withdrawing from the LED market, but our company continues to leverage the technology and know-how cultivated since our founding to develop new LED products. In response to strong requests from industrial equipment manufacturers, we have developed this product. It can be used for industrial equipment such as train arrival and departure displays and various message boards. It utilizes highly reliable electronic components with a long track record, adequately meeting the high reliability requirements demanded for industrial equipment products.
