The VDX3-6755 is a PC/104 embedded CPU board equipped with a DM&P Vortex86 DX3 processor, supporting EtherCAT based on the ISA bus. With support for the legacy ISA bus, industrial equipment manufacturers can extend their product lifecycle further. To adapt to harsh environmental field applications, it features a CAN2.0 bus module that completely isolates both power and signal lines from overvoltage up to 2.5kV, along with two RS-232 interfaces. Additionally, RS485 is protected from electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to ±15kV, and two USB ports and a PS/2 keyboard are also surge protected up to 2.5kV, supporting a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70°C. For Ethernet and EtherCAT connections, it includes an R6040 10/100Mbps LAN integrated into the processor, which supports an RTL8111F PCIe LAN Chip-based 1×Gigabit LAN and the Acontis EtherCAT Master Stack for real-time Linux and DOS.
