basic information
Kulite is a pioneering company in the industry that has been manufacturing various semiconductor transducers, including diffusion-type semiconductor pressure transducers, in the United States since 1959. With over 340 patents, Kulite focuses on producing pressure sensors that are required to undergo testing in harsh environmental conditions across countless fields and industries worldwide. Kulite pressure transducers utilize semiconductor materials for their sensing elements, fully leveraging their characteristics to achieve an ideal transducer that is ultra-compact and highly sensitive. In particular, the ultra-compact pressure transducer XCL series (silicon diaphragm), used in wind tunnel experiments in the aerospace/automotive sectors, has received very high evaluations for both its performance and track record. It features low noise, a wide response frequency range, and excels in hysteresis and temperature characteristics despite being a semiconductor.
