The 17040 charge and discharge testing system is designed to enable high-precision measurements for secondary battery modules and packs. Furthermore, it features regenerative power capabilities, ensuring that the discharge from the Unit Under Test (UUT) is not wasted as power. It can also regenerate power to the grid or another UUT without being affected by harmonics from other devices. This regenerative power technology not only reduces unnecessary power consumption but also addresses heat dissipation issues, eliminating the need for extensive air conditioning system maintenance. The 17040 has parallel connection capabilities and real operation simulation functions. The parallel connection feature allows for maximizing the voltage and current during charge and discharge, broadening the selection range for UUTs. The real operation simulation function can read user-defined waveform data, meeting the requirements of NEDC and FUDS. The bidirectional power structure of this system ensures that the current is not interrupted during the switching of charge and discharge. Therefore, real operation simulations can be accurately conducted in accordance with international standards such as ISO, IEC, UL, and GB/T.
