Introduction to the AM571x Industrial Development Kit (IDK)
The AM571x Industrial Development Kit (IDK) features a Cortex A-15 operating at 1.5GHz and supports the single-core AM57x targeted at industrial applications. It also simultaneously supports 6 Ethernet ports, 2 x RGMII, and 4 x MII. It integrates industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus protocols, allowing for simultaneous operation in master/slave, master/master, or slave/slave configurations. Included are expansion ports for PCie and GPMC for high-speed parallel external interfaces, as well as a camera daughter card for machine vision applications. It comes with a 10-inch capacitive touch display option, ideal for scalable HMI applications. As a high-level operating system (HLOS), it supports low-latency deterministic TI-RTOS and RT-Linux.
