Introduction to the AM437x Industrial Development Kit (IDK)
The AM437x Industrial Development Kit (IDK) is an application development platform for evaluating the industrial communication and control capabilities of the Sitara AM4379 and AM4377 processors for industrial applications. The AM4379 and AM4377 processors are ideal for industrial communication, control, and drive equipment. The AM437x processors incorporate a quad-core Programmable Real-time Unit (PRU) that utilizes real-time communication technology widely used in industrial automation equipment. It achieves best-in-class low power consumption performance while reducing the number of external components and board area.
