Introduction to the AM572x Industrial Development Kit (IDK)
The AM572x Industrial Development Kit (IDK) is a development platform for evaluating the industrial communication and control capabilities of the Sitara AM572x processor, which is ideal for applications such as factory automation, drives, robotics, and grid infrastructure. The AM572x processor features a dual PRU-ICSS (Programmable Real-time Unit Industrial Communication Subsystem) subsystem that can be used with industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, and Ethernet/IP. The 'TMDXIDK5728' is equipped with six Ethernet ports, four of which can be used for connectivity.
