  The secret to printing on cardboard at an astonishing speed. We offer incredible speed and a compact footprint at a very attractive price, which cannot be achieved with conventional inkjet technology. By introducing the innovative Memjet "Waterfall" print head technology and adopting a fixed print head bar system, we can print up to 416 sheets of cardboard measuring 1,219mm x 609mm at high speed in a single pass.

  High-speed printing achieved with single-pass printing of print heads. The Excelagraphix 4800 is equipped with five fixed Memjet print heads. Since only the cardboard sheets move forward, extremely fast printing can be realized.

  Conventional inkjet printers have moving heads, which are slow! In the case of conventional inkjet printers, the cardboard sheet moves forward while the print head scans the width of the cardboard sheet, moving back and forth multiple times. This results in a slower printing speed.

  Can print on corrugated sheets with a maximum width of 1219mm and a maximum thickness of 15.9mm. The Excelagraphix 4800 can flexibly accommodate various types of uncoated, folded, glued, and die-cut corrugated materials up to a maximum width of 1219mm and a maximum thickness of 15.9mm, allowing for small lot production starting from just one piece. Different graphics can be printed quickly in the same process.

  A wide reproducible color gamut, image quality, color fidelity, and color matching for mass-produced images. Creative designers and structural design engineers can print actual mass production quality cardboard sheets by creating mock-ups, or print packaging just before mass production that matches conventional mass production. By printing with vibrant 4-color process (CMYK) water-based dye inks at a resolution of 1600 dpi, it achieves a wide reproducible color gamut, image quality, color fidelity, and color matching for mass-produced images.

  Large lots are printed using a flexo printing machine, while small lots and prototypes are printed with the Excelagraphix 4800. The Excelagraphix 4800 is not intended to replace the current flexo printing machines but is used alongside them. For example, while large-scale printing is done with the flexo printing machine, the Excelagraphix 4800 can handle small lot printing, variable printing, and prototype production, enabling efficient printing.

  We also offer solutions for improved water resistance! By using the Digi Package Coater Wide (sold separately), a primer coater for cardboard and printed paper containers, and applying a dedicated primer before printing, we enhance ink adhesion and improve print durability and water resistance.
