Pressure sensor model PX4200-I 4-20 mA output Silicon on Sapphire (SOS)
The PX4200 series pressure sensor (current output) is made with a Silicon On Sapphire (SOS) sensor. The SOS structure uses a highly stable solid-state silicon strain gauge on a sapphire carrier, which is a glass bonded to a titanium diaphragm. Due to this combination, it is a highly durable pressure sensor with excellent stability and corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range. The loop-powered 3½ digit (-1999 to 1999) plug-on monitor allows for local display and a 60mA capable open collector set point.
