The dimensions of the water turbine (diameter, width) are determined based on the flow rate and effective head. After that, a prototype is manufactured, and trial operations are conducted in a hydraulic environment similar to the actual site to confirm power generation performance. Our company has a dedicated water tank for the development of small hydropower generation systems. We use up to three 55 kW pumps as flow generation devices, combined with a 55 kW generator to conduct performance verification tests of the water turbine. By using this water tank, it is possible to confirm the power generation performance of the actual machine. By consistently handling design, manufacturing, performance verification tests, construction, and on-site adjustments in-house, we achieve low prices.
