Compact and high output! Self-sufficient power through the use of natural energy!
Maruhi Co., Ltd. develops, manufactures, and sells micro-hydropower generation systems that generate electricity by installing water wheels and turbines in rivers and waterways. Maruhi's generation systems are under 1,000 kilowatts, with micro-hydropower ranging from 1 to 10 kilowatts. They can be installed with minimal alteration to the landscape and require little water usage, making them environmentally friendly. The Suijin No. 3 is a compact (generator dimensions: φ140×L approximately 600), high-output (rated output: 2.4kW (MAX 3kW)) fully waterproof hydropower generator. This unit was jointly developed by five small and medium-sized enterprises in southern Nagano, focusing on price and performance, under the guidance of Professor Masayuki Horio from the Independent Administrative Institution Japan Science and Technology Agency and his task force member Eizō Shimizu. Company information
Maruhi Co., Ltd. was founded in 1968 in Kamikuken, Iida City, as Maruhi Electric Manufacturing Company, primarily assembling instrument motors. With the arrival of a new era bringing innovation to manufacturing and to meet the diverse needs of this new age, we changed our company name to Maruhi Co., Ltd. and constructed our long-awaited state-of-the-art factory in 1999 in Kiririn, Iida City. Since our establishment, we have responded to various fields' needs, primarily in FA-related equipment, as experts in precision motor manufacturing, including electronics and automotive sectors. We have always played a pioneering role in introducing the latest equipment, such as various NC machines, and acquiring the latest technologies. We established a consistent production line from parts processing to assembly of motors and encoders, obtained ISO 9002 in March 1999, transitioned to ISO 9001 in July 2006, and acquired ISO 14001 in March 2001, receiving high evaluations for our operations. With the change of our company name, the completion of the new factory, and a renewed determination to soar into the next generation, we are committed to "manufacturing for a new era" and striving for even higher reliability, performance, and quality in our manufacturing.
