Hario Science's hard 1st grade glass "H-32" is a low expansion coefficient heat-resistant glass (borosilicate glass -1) that has been developed through years of research. It meets the standards of "borosilicate glass -1" as specified in JIS R 3503, and is an excellent glass with outstanding chemical durability and heat resistance, making it a superior material for scientific use. "H-32" does not contain heavy metals such as lead, zinc, or cadmium, nor does it use arsenic or antimony, which are commonly used as foam-cutting agents.
