Sense register built-in 1.5A stepper motor driver 'DRV8885'
The DRV8885 features two N-channel power MOSFET H-bridge drivers and a microstepping indexer. It can supply a maximum output current of 1.5A (full scale) or 1.0A rms (at 24V and TA = 25°C, requiring an appropriate PCB ground plane for heat dissipation). It includes a current sensing function, eliminating the need for two external sensing resistors. The STEP/DIR pins can be used as a simple control interface and can be configured for modes ranging from full step to 1/16 step. A low-power sleep mode is available, allowing transition to a very low standby current mode using a dedicated nSLEEP pin. It has built-in protection features against low voltage, charge pump failure, overcurrent, short circuit, and overheating. Fault conditions are indicated by the nFAULT pin. *For more details, please contact us.*
