●Step 1: Odor Control Consultation Due to the large number of exhaust outlets, we first conducted an odor control consultation. We ranked the odor levels of the exhaust outlets that needed countermeasures and investigated how much we could reduce the emitted odors to minimize the odor dispersion area around the factory. As a result, we proposed measures for the top ten lines that had a high impact on the surrounding area. ●Step 2: Introduction of Deodorizing Equipment Although we narrowed down the exhaust outlets to be addressed, we are still implementing measures for ten lines. To carry out the measures simultaneously, we proposed the deodorizing microgel spray system this time. This spray system can accommodate multiple target lines with a single unit, allowing us to keep initial costs lower than other deodorizing equipment. Additionally, since the odor is strongest when using thinner during color changes, we successfully controlled the number of nozzles spraying in three stages according to the situation: "during color change," "during normal painting," and "during downtime," thus reducing running costs. The high cost benefits and the proven deodorizing effectiveness of the microgel led to the decision to introduce the equipment.
