Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is actively expanding its construction machinery manufacturing and sales/service business and has introduced 'AirGRID' to visualize the standby power of machine tools. By installing this product on our signal lights equipped on the machine tools, we collect operational information from each machine. The targeted machine tools total 760 units operating across five factories. The visualization of previously invisible standby power has enabled efforts to improve energy efficiency and energy productivity for machine tools, which were difficult to address before. Furthermore, it has led to a transformation in awareness on-site and revitalized communication.
