We are introducing a case study on the use of fixed bar racks from Gooriki Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells racks and space-saving equipment. Nippon Paper Lumber Co., Ltd. has opened a Kanto Logistics Center. The site area is 12,000 square meters, with a maximum storage capacity of 10,000 cubic meters. The main products for sale are laminated square timber and KD square timber of red pine, and they have begun tailored sales for pre-cut factories with just-in-time cuts to meet demand. The warehouse, primarily using our fixed racks (pickers), is laid out to allow for efficient assembly and has sufficient specifications to stock a variety of materials. Even if the sales scale increases in the future, it can be accommodated by increasing the number of rack arms.
