"Promaxone D" is a calcium silicate hydrate with a powdery, spherical shape and a high porosity, containing needle-like crystals inside. Due to its very low specific gravity (bulk specific gravity: 85-130 g/l), it reduces the specific gravity of friction materials without adversely affecting mechanical strength, contributing to cost reduction. Additionally, the difference in elastic modulus at high and low temperatures is minimal.
