The involute rack mechanism achieves a backlash-free engagement mechanism that is difficult to realize by combining pin gears and trochoidal rack tooth profiles. The design and manufacturing support software for pin gears and trochoidal racks performs high-precision coordinate calculations of the trochoidal rack tooth profile through modifications of the rack tooth shape based on simple input data and an automatic tooth shape error calculation program. You can check the engagement of the created rack and pin gear in a video on the design screen, and visually design the contact state by partially enlarging the engagement section. Additionally, the pressure angle and curvature radius at the engagement points can be displayed in real-time.
