On the high-density polyethylene pipe side, it is a mechanical joint that can be connected without the need for an in-core or disassembly. There is no need for electric fusion work or preparation of fusion machines. On the internally and externally coated steel pipe side (VD pipes, PD pipes), special tasks such as threading and coating removal are not required. The mechanical method simply involves inserting and tightening into the joint socket, significantly reducing the time required for connection. Additionally, since the pipe type switching section is flange-less, the risk of water leakage from the flange area is also reduced, making it excellent in terms of safety, including earthquake resistance. It can slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing pipes with newly installed pipes.
