If moisture is a concern, there is also crystalline N-MAM-PC available. Additionally, there are 2-MA, which is methyl etherified N-MAM, and NBM, which is butyl etherified. 2-MA is a water-soluble liquid that primarily releases methanol during condensation. CH2=CH-CO-NH-CH2OCH3 NBM is an oil-soluble liquid that primarily releases butanol during condensation. CH2=CH-CO-NH-CH2OCH2CH2CH2CH3 The vinyl group can also be cured with ultraviolet light and is used in UV-curable resins.
