This is an introduction to examples of surface treatment for aluminum extrusions by Fuji Shokai, which sells aluminum extrusion materials. Previously, we received a request from a customer stating, "Please finish the surface with black paint." Anodic electrolytic coloring treatment is relatively inexpensive and allows for uniform processing through methods such as immersion in a treatment bath. After the standard treatment, the material becomes insulated (non-conductive), but if the customer requests, for example, "I want it to be conductive," we also offer anodic treatment that results in a specific color while maintaining conductivity.
