The Flexy205 is a flexible IoT tool that can be applied as a field device or as a bridge, in addition to its remote access capabilities. ■ Secure VPN Remote Access With remote operation and monitoring functions for PLCs and HMIs installed at distant locations, it allows for operation and monitoring without being on-site, contributing to reductions in travel costs, waiting time, and downtime. ■ WEB Server HMI Function The Flexy205 itself has HMI functionality and can create web graphics, allowing screens to be displayed on a web server so that monitoring and operation can be done anywhere using a smartphone or tablet. It is possible to design everything from simple tasks to sophisticated automation tasks using BASIC scripts and JAVA programs. ■ Support Function for Field Devices Communication and I/O for PLCs, HMIs, thermometers, and sensors can be conducted via a web server for data collection and alarm notification. ■ Unique Features of Flexy205 Tagging and alarm settings have been simplified compared to the conventional Flexy201. The number of expansion boards for the housing has been reduced to two, making it more compact.
