Automated 6-axis motion stabilization evaluation device
The STEVE-6D shake correction evaluation device automatically evaluates the camera's OIS (Optical Image Stabilizers) using six-axis motion. This device can analyze the camera's response to natural human shake. <Main Features> - 6-axis freedom of movement - Comes with operating software (STEVE-6D software) - CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association) certified <STEVE-6D Accessories and Related Products> The current lineup of the STEVE-6D consists of one model, the STEVE-6DL, which has a maximum load (CIPA certified) of 6.0 kg. The STEVE-6D includes hardware (hexapod), software (vibration control module and data analysis module), an automatic shutter operation robot iQ-Trigger, and a tripod mount for smartphones and tablets iQ-Mobilemount. Ideally, the STEVE-6D is best used in combination with the inclined edge test chart TE261.

<STEVE-6D Software> The STEVE-6D software uses two modules: a vibration control module and a data analysis module. Vibration control is used to manage the movement of the device. The reference point can be freely selected, and in the waveform data settings, one can choose from three types of waveforms based on CIPA standards. It is also possible to use sinusoidal motion or upload custom waveforms created by a Cartesian coordinate system. The data analysis module calculates image stabilization performance using metadata tools. The stabilization results can be displayed as F-values. The Edge Spread Function (ESF) and Spatial Frequency Response (SFR) are also displayed. Additionally, to facilitate easy integration into the user's custom control software, an API for electric devices (iQ-Drive API Version 2.0.0 and later) is available as an optional purchase.
