When an alternating current is applied to a Litz wire, it is known that the resistance increases with higher frequencies due to the skin effect and proximity effect, and this AC resistance can be determined through electromagnetic field analysis. This document introduces examples of calculating the AC resistance of a Litz wire twisted in two stages using EMSolution.
