The connection for cast iron pipes accommodates sizes from 75mm to 150mm, and because it is a mechanical type rather than a special push-on type, it can be installed without disassembly, lubricants, or insertion tools. It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing and new pipes. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping systems when connecting to existing pipes.
