[Case Study] Proposal for a Treatment System for Train Depot Drainage (Cleaning Wastewater Containing Mineral Oil)
We will introduce examples of using bio-based solutions that can efficiently process mineral oils and improve water quality.
We have solved the problem of wash water from trains containing mineral oil. Location: Train Depot Treatment Target: Wash water from trains containing mineral oil Objective: Reduction of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and reduction of n-Hex extractable substances in the wastewater ↓ 【Proposal】 We adopted a bio-treatment that can efficiently process mineral oil and conducted monitoring from implementation to observation. 【Results】 Five weeks after the treatment began, the decomposition of turbidity (oil, organic matter, etc.) in the tank progressed, transparency increased, and it was confirmed that the water quality in all tanks improved. ◎ Are you facing issues with wash water?
