UL standards for tape materials

Introduction to safety standards for electrical equipment and related products handled by our company.

UL is a safety standard for electrical equipment established and approved by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in the United States. Although it has no legal binding force in Japan, it has long been operated as a standard safety regulation within the industry. The UL standards cover a wide range of content, with approximately 800 categories, which can be broadly classified into flammability (flame retardancy), heat resistance, and electrical properties.
