The "8506 Series" is a light scattering microparticle counter that measures particle sizes ranging from 0.5μm to a maximum of 30.0μm and the number of particles, displaying the measurement data for six set particle sizes (channels) along with temperature and humidity data (optional) simultaneously. Using the number data as parameters for density and refractive index (both set by the user), it converts the mass concentration of particles below the specified size into PM concentration displayed in μg/m³.
