A specialized mechanical seismic joint that maximizes the performance of MESCO pipes!!
The Suppon MWX is a seismic joint designed for pipes, manufactured by Mitsui Mining & Smelting Engineering Co., Ltd. (MESCO), that does not require disassembly. It accommodates pipe diameters from Φ40 to Φ250. The allowable water pressure can reach up to 2.0 MPa with the use of a dedicated in-core. It allows for the connection of bridge-mounted piping without the need for flange processing or welding work, enabling installation with just one wrench and immediate water flow after construction. Additionally, it can be installed without the need for special tools, making it unaffected by environmental conditions (weather or mountainous areas). - The pipe-on-pipe sliding connection allows for easy adjustment and alignment between bridge piping and buried piping. - There is a wide range of compatible connections between MESCO pipes and other pipe types (such as PVC and cast iron). - There is a rich lineup of products ideal for the installation of mechanical soft-seal shut-off valves and hydrants that eliminate the risk of leakage from shut-off valves.
