"PPS Polyphenylene Sulfide" has excellent long-term heat resistance, with a load deflection temperature of 260°C when filled with 40% glass fiber, and 112°C even without fillers. It possesses flame retardancy equivalent to UL94 V-0 without the inclusion of flame retardants. It is resistant to most acids and alkalis except for concentrated nitric acid, and there are no solvents that can dissolve it below 200°C.
