Forming sarin fibers, which are prone to microbial adhesion, into a circular shape and stacking them in layers allows for efficient rotation in wastewater, processing dirt with bacteria present in the wastewater.
The problem with activated sludge treatment is the excess sludge. In this rotating disc device, operational methods have been devised to self-clean the sludge that gets tangled on the disc, while also reducing the discharge of excess sludge, contributing to lower operating costs. Because it is integrated, it can be easily transported on a truck, making installation straightforward. It can also be easily installed as a pre-treatment device with unstable processing in existing facilities.
