The NOVA SENSOR "NPX1" is a silicon pressure sensor composed of an 8-bit RISC processor and an LF input stage, enabling highly flexible customer-specific solutions and overall system cost reduction. This programmable sensor is available from the development level, allowing customers to download application code with a programmable ROM version. This sensor is designed to develop application-specific programs, and to ensure high reliability, the NPX1 has measurement routines implemented in ROM.
