Miyako Steel primarily produces cast steel products. As steelmaking technology involving refining is gradually being lost, our steelmaking technology has been passed down and evolved since our founding in 1904. Furthermore, in addition to this technology, we have installed a ladle refining furnace (LF furnace). This document explains our steelmaking technology using an electric arc furnace plus LF furnace, as well as the features and advantages of the N process, which is an inorganic self-hardening mold.
