It is primarily made from wood biomass such as thinned wood and waste wood.

Highmox DC-SG is a dioxin adsorbent that has newly been endowed with mercury adsorption properties based on the conventional Highmox manufacturing technology for dioxin adsorption. By injecting it before the bag filter in the incinerator's flue gas system, it enables the removal of mercury from exhaust gases while maintaining the conventional high efficiency of dioxin removal. Additionally, it enhances the release from the bag filter of fly ash, improving dust removal efficiency. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

basic information

【HiMOX(R) DC-SG Technology】 ■ Even with variability in the properties of raw materials like waste wood, it is possible to manufacture a homogeneous product. ■ High-efficiency adsorption is achievable through the control of the porous pore distribution. Additionally, by focusing on the average length of dioxin molecules, which is about 25 angstroms, and designing the process to ensure that the pore diameter of the adsorbent is predominantly in the range of 20 to 50 angstroms, we have significantly improved the adsorption performance for dioxins. ■ Furthermore, the ion exchange action of new additives used in the manufacturing process has enabled high-efficiency mercury adsorption. 【Evaluation Tests】 In laboratory tests, a removal efficiency of 95-97% for mercury was confirmed. Additionally, it was verified that the removal efficiency is higher than that of other companies' coal-based activated carbon and other companies' activated carbon for mercury removal. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
