The 【AB17-M2FMC】 is an adapter board that converts 8 channels of high-speed differential signals (DP0-DP7) from the FMC expansion interface into two 4-lane PCI standard M.2 interfaces. It can be applied to various evaluation boards from Intel/Xilinx that implement the FMC interface. Additionally, this adapter is required when evaluating the NVMe-IP core from DesignGateway.

○ HPC (High Pin Count) FMC expansion adapter board ○ Capable of simultaneously mounting up to two M.2 SSDs of size 2280 ○ The 3.3V power supply for the SSD is generated from the 12V supplied by FMC, with the option to reinforce the 12V supply capability using an external 4-pin ATX power supply ○ The power supply to the SSD can be controlled ON/OFF with a switch ○ Two 12V power supplies for cooling fans synchronized with the SSD power supply are implemented ○ A low-jitter clock source compliant with PCIe standards (default 100MHz differential signal) is implemented on the adapter ○ The differential clock supplies the same clock signal to both the FMC side and the SSD side ○ Reset can be selected between direct connection from FMC to SSD and reset output on the adapter board via jumper socket
