Uninterruptible power supply that can be installed when traffic lights go out due to a power outage.
Lio UPS-LP
A portable uninterruptible power supply that restores power when a blackout occurs and traffic signals go out.
In urban areas such as large cities, power outages can occur due to various troubles. When a power outage happens, traffic lights for vehicles and pedestrians installed on the roads go dark, causing the traffic network to become paralyzed. Although police officers will manage traffic, the time until restoration is unpredictable. In such situations, the portable uninterruptible power supply LioUPS3, which can be set up and operated in outdoor environments, plays a vital role. Normally, it is kept as a backup power supply for other devices, and in the event of a power outage caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, heavy rain, or electrical equipment troubles, the uninterruptible power supply can be transported by vehicle to the traffic lights that need to be restored, providing power and allowing them to operate temporarily as traffic signals. Additionally, Seiwa Electric aims to contribute to society with the goal of "disaster reduction" based on two categories: Category 1: Providing rapid and accurate evacuation guidance during disasters. Category 2: Providing backup power supplies during disasters. Seiwa Electric's uninterruptible power supplies help avoid system downtime during disasters and planned power outages.
