Explanation of the bleed phenomenon caused by the compatibility between caulking agents and paints!
When repairing cracks in exterior walls with caulking material, a phenomenon known as "bleed" may occur. The phenomenon referred to as "bleed" is when gray stains appear on the exterior wall, resembling worm tracks, creating a sticky condition. To prevent bleed, choose a non-bleed type of caulking material. Using non-bleed caulking reduces the migration of plasticizers, helping to prevent the bleed phenomenon. **Causes of Bleed** - Caused by plasticizers contained in the caulking material seeping out. - Plasticizers react with paint or dirt that has dissolved from the repair surface, causing discoloration. - Incompatibility between the caulking material and paint. *For more details, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.*
