Color change of the hot runner using NX-P2.

Introduction of a case where color change in foamed PP molding using hot runner molds was adopted.

At Ube Industries, Ltd., we conducted a cleaning evaluation of "Cell Purge NX-P2" for color change in foam PP molding using hot runner molds. We continuously molded "Cell Purge NX-P2" directly from the previous material and then continued molding the subsequent material. The previous material was sufficiently discharged after 15 shots, and the replacement to the next material was completed in just 4 shots. No touch-up processing was needed at all during the molding of the next material. The cleaning of hot runners, which has traditionally been very difficult, can be carried out very easily using Cell Purge NX, specifically the hot runner type. We encourage you to consider the Cell Purge NX series for improving the efficiency of color change processes during molding.
