By processing the "iridix" technology, which applies the principles of the human retina, within the camera, rich 12-bit gradation data becomes available. This allows for significant dynamic range compression without degrading the signal-to-noise ratio. Even with large brightness differences that conventional wide dynamic range cameras cannot cover, it analyzes brightness information for each pixel in real-time, enabling details to be visible in areas that would otherwise be blacked out, while simultaneously applying reverse correction to areas that are too bright and difficult to see.
