Our company manufactures and sells various products made from flame-resistant fibers, including safety-related products. Yoshino's spatter sheets come in four types of weaves: "satin weave," "twill weave," "plain weave," and "felt (non-woven fabric)." Flame-resistant fibers are excellent in flame retardancy, but when woven, they create "gaps in the weave." To seal these gaps, silicone is coated on the surface of the fabric. The coating also has the effect of repelling sparks, preventing slag from staying in one place, and the moisture contained in the silicone evaporates, allowing heat to escape.
