Miyamori Co., Ltd. is a general trading company that sells important components and mechanical element parts incorporated into various machines and devices, such as industrial machinery, machine tools, and textile machinery. Below, we outline the improvement case we proposed. 【Issues and Requests】 There was a significant problem with the wear of rubber gaskets, resulting in a large amount of wear powder and a lifespan of only six months. The customer requested a product with a longer lifespan than the current one, less wear powder generation, and certification under the Food Sanitation Act. 【Proposal】 We proposed a rubber material (with a special formulation) that is resistant to wear and heat. 【Customer Evaluation】 Evaluation tests were conducted at the customer's site. There was some wear, but it was minimal, and the lifespan exceeded one year. 【Result】 The customer decided to switch from their conventional supplier to us. *For additional information, please refer to the PDF document.
