[Application Case] How to Build a Traffic Survey Using ETC On-Board Units with the DSRC Roadside System ME9300
The DSRC roadside system ME9300 is a system that utilizes ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) used on highways. It communicates with the ETC onboard unit installed in vehicles to obtain a unique ID called WCN (Wireless Call Number). By utilizing this WCN, it can be applied to traffic surveys between two points on a specific route, for example. The WCN acquired by ME9301 (DSRC antenna) is transmitted to ME9302 (interface box) via ME9303 (dedicated I/F cable). Since ME9302 is equipped with an Ethernet port, it is possible to transfer the acquired WCN to external PCs, etc., through LAN, WAN, and other lines. Additionally, external PCs can control the start and end of WCN acquisition for the ME9300 system. 【Product Introduction】 ■DSRC Roadside System ME9300 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
